Rick Parish

“ The actions we take in our lifetime and the way in which we treat our fellow human beings, defines our humanity and who we are as a race….” Rick Parish, Kilimanjaro, 2009

Rick is the Chairman of M&O Global; a company that provides safety and emergency training for the offshore oil and gas industry. He is also Managing Director of Global Rescue Pte Ltd in Singapore – which provides helicopter and fixed wing search and rescue services, and counter terrorism and interior security force training, procurement and operations – and Director of Beyond Fear, Director of Maritime Management Solutions, Singapore and Non-Executive Director of Mobilarm Ltd.

Rick’s interests include writing and he’s passionate about helping to find a cure for cancer in children. He loves photography, loves his kids and wife, and loves red wine!

When Pete Wilson and I discussed the idea of setting up our own adventure based fund raising program, we were sitting on the side of Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, having just summitted. Little did I know that within less than a week my life and the lives of my family members would be changed forever. Elliot was diagnosed within 4 days of me arriving back from Tanzania. I set up The Adventurers and the Mont Blanc Project with a single minded objective; to help the kids and families in Ward 3B at PMH and to help find a cure for cancer.

I have no patience whatsoever; I hate lining up for anything.

Life is too short to drink cheap red wine!
