After a successful career in corporate law, Justin joined boutique corporate advisory house Gresham Partners in 2008, and now heads its Perth office. His typical day involves advising companies on mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings, and the global nature of modern finance means he routinely deals with clients from across the country and around the globe. Although his career and two young daughters keep him busy, he manages to finds some solitude – and time to think – while, hiking, trekking and swimming.
“Unless you’re willing to take time out of your routine once and while, you’ll miss the opportunities life puts in front of you to do something that actually makes a difference. For me the Mont Blanc Project is one such opportunity, allowing me to teach my kids by example that ordinary people, with a little extra effort, can do extraordinary things.”
Sometimes, late at night, you may find Justin behind the turntables, creating a new trance music mix for the iPod, almost all other genres have fallen by the wayside over the years: “too many words obscuring the rhythm”, he would say.
