‘The AHG Adventurers’ launched ‘The Mont Blanc Project 2010′, to be completed in September 2010, as a fundraiser for Childhood Cancer patients at Princess Margaret Hospital, Ward 3B, The Total Care Unit.
Lead by Perth based businessmen Rick Parish (ex-SAS soldier, former NSCA Pararescue Commander and Chairman of M&O Global) and Peter Wilson (Former champion Eagles Footballer and AFL legend). Rick’s 3 year old son Elliot was diagnosed in October 2009 with brain and spinal cancer and has undergone continuous treatment at Ward 3B.
The AHG Adventurers was established by Rick and Peter to raise funds for PMH Ward 3B by undertaking arduous and sometimes dangerous adventures and challenges. This year, the objective is to reach the summit of Mont Blanc. It’s a tough, challenging and physically demanding climb but it pales by comparison to what many children and their families go through every day in Ward 3B, Princess Margaret Hospital. All participants will receive the necessary training and climbing skills, and no previous mountaineering experience is needed.
The Mont Blanc Project 2010 – A Climb for Childhood Cancer involves people from all walks of life committed to making a difference to children and families, alike, suffering from cancer!
The AHG Adventurers are committed to this cause and need your help.
